Frozen Pipes
This home on Green Lake experienced significant water damage in the basement from a frozen pipe that eventually burst. Since this is a seasonal home, and the owner's primary residence is in Illinois, the leak was not discovered until the entire lower level was wet and significantly damaged. This before and after also shows the multiple steps in the mitigation process we've talked about in blog posts. The "after" photo shows the water damage post mitigation. Everything has been dried and mitigated. There will be no further damage from mold growth or rot. However, it must now be rebuilt to make the damage "Like it never even happened."
