Orange Juice Spill
This manufacturing plant called SERVPRO of Appleton to clean up their back lot after vats of orange sprung a leak due to freezing and thawing. Due to the acid level of the orange juice, it is considered corrosive, and qualifies as hazardous material clean up or hazmat.
Our staff is trained to handle lower- level hazmat situations like orange juice and blood borne pathogens found at crime scenes, suicides or other health emergencies.
All employees receive US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training on the donning and doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure that they are using the PPE correctly. There is also an annual fit test for each individual technician to make sure their PPE is fit and working properly.
